Nothing More, Wage War And More Combine For A NOLA Co-Headliner

Close your eyes for a brief second. Remember when you weren't sweating to death each time you left the house, say, around April or so? Around this same time, Nothing More joined forces with Wage War for a Co-Headliner for the ages and brought along friends Veil of Maya and Sleep Theory for the ride.

The Fillmore was buzzing with energy, an energy that grew the second Sleep Theory took the stage.

The last time the band was in town was back in February, Valentine's Day to be exact, in a smaller venue. This time around, they proved not only were they ready for a bigger stage (and headliner tour), but that a lot of people fell in love with them months ago.

Much too soon, Sleep Theory left the stage and Veil of Maya took their place. It was the Chicago band's second time in the area this year and they had a killer set with plenty of crowd surfing.

The moshing and raging continued as Wage War burst on the stage with Stitch. The band treated fans with old faves and songs from their then unreleased album STIGMA. Ending with their biggest hit, Manic, it was honestly surprising the roof was still attached to the building.

Nothing More ended the intense rock filled night with a fiery set, much like they did back in October of last year.

As always, Jonny Hawkins, Mark Vollelunga, Daniel Oliver and Ben Anderson have the crowd eating out of the palm of their hands. At times, it was hard to hear Hawkins due to how loud the crowd was singing along.

Before you knew it, an insane evening of hard rock and metal came to an end and the roof of The Fillmore remained in tact...until the next time that is.
