"I recently went through and re-organized my Vinyl collection and took the opportunity to re-listen to some old records I hadn't brought out in a while. For Vinyl, I prefer records that sound authentic in mono. My turntable plays out of one speaker so more sonically produced albums really don't sound great on it. But my five picks this month I think sound fantastic in mono. Enjoy!"

1. Ghost Chant- Nothing Worth Keeping
2. Sunsleep- Dive

Currently Listening To:
1. Relax Trio - Don't You Mess With Me
2. Relax Trio - You Drive Me Nuts
3. Charlie Gin and The Tonics - My Babe
4. Voyager - Highway Star
5. Gutter Stars -Oh Gunquit

"Wow...since I started listening to the Rock-A-Billy genre, I've expanded my horizons...so to speak, to include more from this up to date, newly discovered type of hoppin, boppin, and rockin music. So much rich Retro combined with other flavors of several rock, jazz and blues influences. This music either makes you want to get up and dance, or drown in a drink...but even the latter still has a unique groove all its very own.
Relax Trio...an outfit from across the pond totally blew me away with "Don't You Mess With Me" and carried on with " You Drive Me Nuts"! Look, if you listen to ANY of my picks this month the first two are a must. Both ripp it with high intensity, fast moving grooves. I'm learning both right now for a private project...soon to be announced.
A great source for this music is a YouTube channel name of "Bopflix" concentrating on the Rock-A-Billy genre...and is there lots to listen to? Absolutely! Go check it out and please tell us what you think, we appreciate your input, after all, it's YOU that can make a scene happen!
The Beatman hopes you'll give a listen to what turns me on and sets my soul afire! Keep The Beat ya'll!!!! Beatman...out!"

Currently Listening To:
1. Give My Remains to Broadway - Returnal (Skeleton Key)
2. Modest Mouse - Ocean Breathes Salty
3. The World is a Beautiful Place and I’m No Longer Afraid to Die - Getting Sodas
4. Malcolm Todd, Omar Apollo - Bleed
5. Rainbow Kitten Surprise - Espionage

"I had a few different listening phases this March. I went on a deep dive through Give My Remains (which was well-worth the time), but Returnal was a song of theirs I just couldn’t stop repeating. Ocean Breathes Salty and Bleed were notable driving songs for me; in my opinion, they’re some of the best windows-down tracks to blast, especially in this warmer weather. Getting Sodas is just a stunning, climactic song, so I had to include it. Finally, although I haven’t kept track of RKS’ new releases, listening to their new-ish song Espionage might have convinced me to tune back into the ever-changing band."
